The ultimate goal of the Christian life is a union with God through a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Through ongoing Bible studies, prayer, worship and fellowship with other Christians, God transforms us so that we become the individuals that He desires for us to become. The outcome is spiritual growth...becoming a mature follower of Jesus Christ; a follower who looks more and more like Jesus as time goes by.

In addition to our Sunday morning and Wednesday night activities, we offer a Small Group Ministry and weekday Bible Studies. Small Groups are for everyone. The teaching of Jesus and the lessons of the Bible are the core of Small Groups, but a Small Group is not a formal Bible Study. It is about growing closer to God and closer to one another. A typical small group is about 8-14 people who typically rotate meeting in members' homes twice per month, for about 2 hours, on average. Small Groups can provide immeasurable benefits to the growth and unity of our church, by facilitating the growth of relationships across the entire First Baptist Church "family".
